The Basics

Hey, I’m Sydney! I graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in journalism and currently work for the Spokane Chiefs (Western Hockey League) as their Director of Digital Media and Communications. I thrive on utilizing my passion for sports to tell compelling stories and connect fans with their favorite players through creative visual media. In my free time I enjoy reading, paddle boarding, and rollerblading.

Catch Me At The Rink

Nine times out of ten I can be found at the local hockey arena creating content and live-tweeting games for a living. My responsibilities at the rink range from video production to public relations and everything in between. When I’m not on the ice, I can be found playing outside with my dog, Diego, or with my nose in a book.
